By using the Colombo London Shopping Express website and services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Colombo London Shopping Express (operated by T/A Sathil Communications, Sri Lanka) provides a UK parcel receiving, freight, customs clearance and last-mile delivery service to Sri Lanka. We are not a retailer — we do not purchase goods on your behalf unless separately agreed.
Your unique reference code must be included in the order notes of every parcel sent to our UK warehouse. Parcels arriving without a valid reference code will be refused and returned to the sender. We accept no liability for refused parcels(*).
Your UK shipping address is valid for 30 days from payment verification. Parcels must be dispatched to our warehouse before this expiry date. Expired addresses cannot be reactivated without a new order and payment.
You must not ship prohibited items including: lithium batteries (standalone), flammable or hazardous materials, weapons or replicas, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, Laptop with batteries, Any electronic items with batteries included, Perfume/Alcohol, Perishable food, or any items prohibited under Sri Lanka Customs regulations. We reserve the right to refuse, confiscate or return any such items at your expense.
The maximum single parcel length is 100 cm. Parcels exceeding this will be refused at our UK warehouse.
We take reasonable care in handling your parcels. Our liability is limited to the declared value of the goods up to a maximum of LKR 25,000 per shipment. We do not accept liability for customs seizures, delays caused by Sri Lanka Customs, or damage caused by the original retailer's packaging.
Customs duty estimates in your quote are indicative. Final duty amounts are determined by Sri Lanka Customs. If actual duties exceed the estimated amount, we will contact you before proceeding. If you refuse to pay the difference, your parcel may be held or returned at your cost.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka / United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
